hey guys, im lookin for a new project and i found a 1988 blaster but heres the problem.
Brand new Stator, ignition, lightbulb, air filter, oil, spark plug, cleaned carb. Still couldn't get it running. Cables all work fine, Shifts through all gears, Tires hold air, Shocks bounce back. DG exhaust, Bent DG front bumper. I think the problem is with the T.O.R.S. unit above the carburetor. Or it could be that the new stator i put in, that was for a blaster, has an extra wire coming out (which leads me to believe it is not the right stator). The guy i bought it from said that was all it needed, so maybe a new stator will get this thing running
do you think its the stator or tors? let me know, because i might pick this blaster up soon.
