1982 YZ490 wont start

m hew to the site. Now i had a few YZ125 and a YZ250 in the past. I found a 1982 YZ490 that i got started once on Friday and have been unable to get it going again? The air,spark,gas 40:1 and compression are good. She pops and smokes but wont start. any and alll help wanted

Check the reeds.

stock jetting? you should be running 20:1 fuel oil ratio

check to see if the flywheel key is sheared

How does the plug look? Possibly flooded, pull plug and kick it over a few times with out the plug in it and spray the plug with carb cleaner and see it trys to start then. I am thinking the plug maybe fouled out.
