14/40 gearing people whats the top speed?

not too much faster than stock. it depends alot on the motor and tire size. since they dont have a rev limiter, a built motor will pull the atv faster than a stock one
it depends on tire size as well but this will give you an idea... enter these numbers into the link with your sprockets and tire size

i believe the max rpm for a blaster is around 9000 without mods correct me if im wrong...

I would say 50-55. 60 if you had some minor motor mods. those 18" rears really cut down on top speed.
that gearing calculator is crap lol. i punched it in and used the little 17" tires i use at the 1/8 mile track and it said my max speed was going to be 48mph. i ended up hitting 60 at the 1/8 mile mark and was still climbing. I:I

i just tried it at 10,000 and it actually did say 60mph so i guess it is kinda close haha but i dunno if im turning 10,000 RPM's lol
i just did it with ur set up at 9k it has you running 54 with 14/40 and 17 rears so if u turned 9.5k or 10k at the track u would be hitting 60 and still goin for sure
On a stock bike with 18"s and a 14T front sprocket you'll go about 50ish.
I know with 18"s and a few light mods my bike barely pulls 55ish.... but it gets there quick.

None of your mods directly relate to top speed. and blasters are racing/trail quads. not something to do 90 on

I completely agree power is more important than speed. Im want mine to do a solid 70 mph with enough power to still hit the track and do the jumps.
How does the 14 tooth sprocket do for the blaster on the track with the stock tires?
the 14t will give you a couple more mph. if your blaster is the one set as your avatar picture, those are not stock tires
You should be looking for a nice used pipe. and if you get a 14t sprocket, you need a new chain and rear sprocket
