13 to 40?

he's back!!! so i just picked up my blaster a few days ago from the stealership after a 1060 dollor ass raping replacing my crank and piston with wiseco on both as i mendshend 68.25 i'm going to put on the air scoops dyo from this forum to help prevent overheating i also have comming 4 razrs f 21x7x10 r20x11x9 with .160 dougles rims but i'm running 13f 40r sprockets what should i run? and will i need a new chain i bought this blasty from craigs list asking 1000 and i talked him down to 500 i've done alot to it and am willing to do more any help is apresheated thanx guys

holy sh*t m8 thats quite the bill. Anyway most ppl run a 14t up front for more top speed, but it depends. what conditions you ride? like mx, trails ect?

i ride trails mostly i live here in maine alot of woods i want to have a bad machine

i switched to 14/40 an it helped alot it made the gears longer an it didnt lose much takeoff

damn you got raped with no lube on that service...should have sent it to flotek. And yes Run 14/40 sprockets.

Easy! pop the old one off and put the new on on.

You may need to adjust the slack adjuster on the carrier.

i run 14 -40. i like it the front wheels still have no trouble lifting up.
