Hope it will help others, almost same as a Blaster. The only thing you need to do is open stator, reconect the ground to a wire that comes out of magneto. Then connect it to a rectifier/regulator, that is to get dc volt, instead of ac volt. That's it!!!

No, here in Namibia it is difficult to get a rectifier/regulator for that purpose. What i need to do is build my own rectifier, with an aditional regulator.

Will keep you posted on the progress.

you can use a warrior regulator to do that i believe. I had a gokart with a wr250 motor and a guy wired up a warrior regulator to a 12v battery to keep my lights charged for highway riding. Dont know exactly how he did it but i remember he had alot of custom wiring done to it. Ill ask him about it.

my lights dont work. is there supposed to be a battery on there for them to work?
its just the stock headlight but it wont work.

i'd say that ur bulb is bad, t=o bad wiring? they need no battery to run

Old thread, but you can get the rectifier/regulator from baja designs for under 50 bucks, with directions.

I recently contacted baja designs and spoke with them about the blaster stator , they don't re-wind them anymore for more juice . BUT Ricky stator does sell the rectifiers and regulators , as well as the 75w upgraded stator
