115 psi

so you didnt do a break in??? just went slow for awhile?
if thats the case you probably fried yur piston rings. gotta break em in right if you want em to last

yes but heat cycles should not be done at idle... they should be done while varying the rpms never letting it set on the same position for more than 3 seconds and never cracking it wide open. do this for about 10 min and a couple sets then start on the little ride

lol "proper" break in is just like everything else here, looots of different opinions. i broke mine in as i described and im on my 2nd season of trail riding and drag racing.

i did 5 heat cycles putted around on a gallon of feul and then let her rip. not a problem at all. i can get a psi reading if you like just to compare.

btw, dunno man, but that main jet sounds super low to me. my buddy is running porting, head mod, toomey, open lid, and stock carb and he has a 340 main. you do a plug chop?

cant do a plug chop when the motor isnt broken in yet lol.i think i might have a iner case leak or some one dumped motor oil in my tank
and i wouldnt doubt some lil f*cker dumped somthing in my tank

holy crap 260 is WAAAAYYYYYY LEAN. probably fried it. if you cant plug chop play it safe and go rich. that 260 would be lean on my quad
