I asked my 9yr old what class he wanted to race in this season and he said he wanted to stay in the same class he raced in last year.Last year he and his brother cleaned house with their suzuki LT80's!All year he complained about being cramped up on the little LT so I had traded for our first blaster and thought he would want to move up in class instead its gonna be a mix of both.I need to find as much info as possible also would love to have some pics.so I can get started tearing this one apart and trying to find a good powerfull donor.Does anyone know which powerplant would yield best results? The only rule in class is that engine must start life as a 110cc.We can do whatever we want for power,big-bore,stroker crank, whatever as long as it starts life at 110cc and under. Thanks for the help!

I have a yz85 motor if it's 110cc and under. This think flys and has a custom over ride tranny, so you don't have to clutch during shifts.

What are some proven good power 2-stroke motors that you all have built?Remember it can be anything that is placed in a chassis from factory under 110cc.The largest I can think of is the KTM 105 or the KX100 but you don't see many of them. The final cc displacement can then exceed the 110cc with big-bores and stroker crankshafts.Just trying to start in the right direction and thought some forum members could help out with some good info. Thanks BF

I personally haven't built a small cc 2 stroke, but I belong to another forum that is Kawasaki only and they build some sweet running kx100 bikes. They are liquid cooled with one radiator and can be big bored fairly easily. Good solid motors and for the price, can't be beat. Of course, I'm partial to Kawasaki...lol plus, starting out at 100cc, you won't have to upgrade from a smaller displacement later.
