05 yfz 450 shock?

Ya it will if it is front shocks you will need the widening kit though to make it work correctly

it sure will, but it's a damn tight fit, and requires ken oconnor's shock bushings just like the 400ex shock
you'll need to cut off the rear fender mount as circled in red above, the plastic and the cooresponding metal tab on the frame
and also the snorkel, and part of the lid it connects to will need removed, leaving you a square hole, flush with the front edge of the airbox
i also had the right side, lower air box rubbing thru the resiviour after a while, seems threre's a brass bushing at the bottom of the air box lid, mounting hole.
remove the screw from the bottom, that holds that bushing in, and the brass bushing, then use a sheet metal screw to hold the lid on
the brass bushing is what the stock machine screw threads into to hold the lid on

of course a cfm airbox cured all this "airbox rubbing" issues

I have the F7 air box so hopefully I will be ok with that. I am buying the rear shock today for 35.00 it looks almost brand new the guy pulled it off and is running fox shocks he has almost 3000.00 dollars in shocks thats more than double what I have in the blaster.

It will work but you need bushings, even ken's need modded slightly, I built my own for my yfz rear and you can see how I did it in my build thread, it clears my CFM airbox fine. You also need to ream out the bottom shock hole and reshape the bottom of the shock but it's not bad/hard.
