I'm seriously at a loss for words. I've taken my carb off at least five times and cleaned it, replaced the jets, replaced everything and it still dies once i put the choke in. I have an fmf pipe and a k&n air filter in case that helps also the jet size is 270. Please help!

raise your idle
is your gas line plugged?
No the gas line is fine i just fixed the entire petcock because it was leaking before. It idles fine when the choke is pulled but as soon as it goes back in it just dies. Even when the choke is pulled and i give it gas it's really sluggish.

a 270 is the main jet

check the pilot jet, its in a little hole, and most likely plugged. use a cotton swab with gas/carb cleaner on it

The #270 main jet will not help at idle it only comes I to play at 3/4 throttle and above.

The pilot jet is in the idle circuit and should be a clean #32.5.

Im really starting to think its an air leak. How do i fix this and where is this leak? Should i just take it in to my local power-sports location?

I checked it and its as clean as a whistle and also new. Sorry for the confusion

Grab yourself a leak tester, PM Awk08 and ask how.

If it does not come with instructions PM me.

Save yourself lots of $$$$$ and do it yourself, easy Peasey.

My leak tester cost me 42 bucks to build from Lowe's
