05 blaster not running good..at all

i jus bought an 05 blaster the guy said it needs a je kit..i just want a second openion. if i pull the choke all the way out its starts perty ez one started its like its surging...it make a loud "ping,ping" noise..if you know what i mean
if i hit on the throttle at all it jus wants to bog out and kill
....any suggestions?????

Sounds like jetting, prob rich since it runs better on choke and blurps once hit hard, but could be over lean as well, be careful until figured out... Is there an aftermarket pipe on this bike, possibly not jetted for yet or overjetted?

Also, be sure to check the reeds, easy to pull and inspect, could also be a culprit.

Since it is new, to you, a few things should be checked as well.
Do a reed inspection, run a compression test as well. Old fuel in the tank? Is the oil injection still hooked up?

yeah the guy i bought it from said that it needed a jet kit...so i ordered one
i pulled the carb off and dropped the bowl to find a 260 jet in it idk if thats good or not?
yes it does have a fmf exahust the guy says it was bored out..but i looked on the top end (that does look new) and it said 195cc on the side of it...so im perty sure it stock..right? i got my jet kit in today...i put the fuel needle thing on the 3rd knotch
then tried it with a 350 jet..did the same thing...then i figured it was too much fuel so i went back down to stock...i think like a 220...same thing happens..i idels perfect but i can nail it and all it does is bogg for a while and kill.....it spits some black sauce out by the exahust port...i cant tell if its oil of gas...or both?....its got me really confused
