So I bought a blaster new back in 04 and did a few things to it over the years but a few months ago I ordered a new swing arm and one thing led to another and I just decided to go through the whole thing. I ended up blasting and powder coating the frame, all new suspension and too much other stuff to list. I figured I would share some pics of the process. Ive been here and there on this site for a few years and it always seems to have great info. Hope everyone likes it thanks again

nice work man !
nerfs, +swinger, +axle, rad carrier, +a-arms, elkas and....... a beer can jammed into the headlight :D

daaaamn, elka stage 5!!

Why didnt you go long travel when you spent that much? just wondering.

Looks like its new again :D

Good work

Thanks everybody! As far as long travel arms go I decided I wanted the alba arms instead the ASR +3 LT arms for 2 reasons 1) I got the alba arms shipped to my house for $200. 2) one of my favorite things about blasters is how nimble it is in the woods and I was afraid the +3 arms would take a lot of that away and I ride 90% tight wooded trails. The beer can came from a ride several years back where we had a 4 atv pileup in the woods at night and my headlight and housing shattered from impact, the only thing we had were empty beer cans so I shoved one above the headlight to make it back to camp and it just ended up staying there and became a joke between friends. I ended up fixed the light when I had it apart but I put the can back in just to keep the joke going. Thanks again

I like youre reasoning . Alot of people install products that they do not even need or to look cool or impress their buddies.. Most of the Motocross parts , and wider and lower stance will be crap in tight woods . The same applies for a mid to top end pipe and gearing .
Did you have any problems with the A- arm install ? Can you PM me the part numbers? Thanks

Ill take a look at the receipts tonight and send you everything later on tonight. I ran in to some minor issues when installing the arms but nothing to serious. After power coating the frame the a arm gussets or brackets had to much material and would not let the arms slide in the mount so I had sand all of the mounts to fit and I also has some trouble with the pin that slides through the a arm bushings, the pin seemed to fit to tight and would not let the arm pivot around the pin but after some trial and error it all seemed to work pretty well. I'm not sure if the problem were the parts or if it was just the fact that this was the first time I had done this kinda work on the blaster and pretty much learned as I went.
