04 engine in 2001 frame

I have a 2001 frame I got cheap and got a 04 engine with wiring harness with coil and a black box ( cdi ) guess the name. I have a aftermarket carb . Trying to figure out how this wiring works. I think I will look for a 04 on/ off stitch . Is there a wiring diagram somewhere to help me. Let me back up will a 04 engine fit in a 01 frame.

Can someone take a pic of voltage regulator.

There's already about 700,000 of them on Google. Just go to Google image search and type in Blaster voltage regulator. A few will be wrong, but when you see 97% that all look the same, you know they're correct.
