04 blaster please help me find my problem.

iI have an 04 blaster ran perfectly fine till I tryed to install the headlight.I think I spliced
The headlight wires to the rong place and shorted something out.it still turns on first or second kick but since I tryed connecting the light it dosnt want to run,it sound a little difrnt than normal and when I try giveing it gas itl bogg out and turn off..Idk what to to someone tolled me to try replaceing the wire harness what do ya think????

haness replacement isn't necessary,
your light should have connected to the green and yellow wires (hi/low beam) and any solid black,
if you connected it to a black with white stripe wire, that could be a problem, as thats the one for killing the ignition

the full wiring diagram can be found in the downloadable manual found in the general support section here

i'd start by disconnecting everything you just did, tape all bare wires, and see if it returns to normal,
then follow the color coded wiring diagram and try again

there are a few black wires under the hood and it sounds like you grounded the black one that has the white stripe. that goes to the key switch. disconect the light and try it. also check spark with the plug out just be sure your getting spark before you try and kick it a million times waiting for it to start or not.

Someone told me maybe the jets are backwords but I never took anything apart and it ran perfect,someone else told me maybe it the magneto any suggestions.??

Try and follow what the two previous posts, just suggested you look at and try.

Then once you have checked that out and comfirmed the color of the wires and they are right or corrected. then we can go from there.
