03 blaster rev problem

so my
Buddy has an 03 blaster tors and oil injection still hooked up ... bike idles pretty well but sometimes surges low and comes back up but when you hit the throttle it screams, the throttle stays wide open and you have to kill the bike, while riding it doesn't happen but taking off in first gear it screams from the slightest throttle movement...what do you guys think, I'm thinking tors problem maybe? Or float staying wide open in the carb? Not really sure

You're off to a good start. Take it off, and while you're at it spray some carb/brake cleaner around the entire engine and look for air leaks.

But only do one of those things at a time. It might just be the TORS. Or if you take it off and it still does it then you know it might be a leak.

Going to tell him start with the carb and if that doesn't fix it I'll help him with the tors delete...his air filter is pretty shot told him to get a new one

Could be carb slide hanging up, bad air leak, tors box acting up, etc

So it ended up being a clogged pilot jet runs good now , thanks for the tips everyone
