SKF is a good brand, affiliated with CR (Chicago Rawhide) bearings and seals. i bought one of these same set ups for my 03 f150 w/abs and have had no issues with it. i had to reset the abs because the light was on from the oe sensor that failed but other than that, its a good replacement and cost effective too. The other sets seem a little over priced for me.

With the economy in the dump, ive had to revert back from carpenter/contractor to working at a auto dealership in vt as a service writer, ive seen too many of these knock off china sh*ts come back for buzzing or whining. there not made like american. there mass produced from sh*tty materials and fail alot! skf outsources some of their stuff but the overall quality is good. besides, cr bearings and seals have been around a long time and hold a good name in the field. glad to help bro.

It being about half the price of the others is a little disconcerting. But it does look identical to the others, Not that that isn't a guaranty. I could see 20-30 $ difference between brands thou.
My dad has a mazda truck that the fronts were under grease packed from the factory, Didn't find that out till after a road trip from ND to California :(. Luckily they didn't fail then.

all bearings are underpacked with grease, i'll remedy that like i do all my blaster bearings, packed with good red waterproof grease

Definitly go Timkin! Its worth the extra money. I have been using them in repair shops and parts stores I have worked at since 05 and cant remember having one come back. SKF seals I have used and had good results but the low price of the bearing concerns me that is possibly a cheap imported bearing. My F250 4x4 diesel has a timkin on the front for over 100k with no issues (OE failed after being in an accident). I wouldnt add a grease fitting, too much concern of getting metal in the bearing or the internal sensor.

thanx for the input
no gease fitting, just pick the seal and add some

I always use SKF bearings in everything automotive with great results, everything i've seen from them is top quality. make sure the bearings say SKF GERMANY, there are replica companies out there

my vote goes to SKF

i thought you were the one with an SKF tattoo hiding somewhere, LOL

i'll write the ebay seller and ask if they are SKF germany bearings
thanx !

now i'm getting skeptical about the SKF brand on ebay for $77
they are listed everywhere else for $200 + ????

BR930343-SKF-SKF BRANDED HUB UNITS

SKF Part # BR930343

although the pic on ebay shows the same blue protection tubing that other brands don't ????
contact the seller, he might just have 2 of them left but hes got them priced that way just to get rid of them fast. i bought a set of seat heat/cooling modules for a s class Mercedes on ebay for $69 bucks but everywhere else was $450. guy just wanted to move them out.

Go with SKF. That's what I put in mine, and they feel great.

well i would, except here's what the SFK bearing seller on ebay wrote me back...............

This is a DTA (Demirdjian) bearing assembly.

so it isn't an SKF ???

Doesn't make sense to sell DTA bearings in a SKF ad....I got mine from NAPA.
