Sounds like a good start with what your thinking. Any reason you wouldn’t want to use oem Yamaha crank bearings? I can’t imagine they are hard to get. I’m sure the Vito’s stuff is just fine. I have numerous products from them on my blaster build. Good stuff. I haven’t used any of their engine components tho. Just banshee rear end parts.

Thanks for the Reply nope no reason I could also get a oem crank with oem bearings an ship the crank out to KOR with the cylinder to get trued it sounds like a good Idea I want the engine to be reliable I plan on doing a leak down test and plug chop and go by the service manual to rebuild it

Is your crank bad? Or does it not even have one lol? But with lots of engine parts I try to go with oem if possible. And yes a leak down is essential.

Yes hot rods crank that it came with is blown plus a oem with bent shaft don't think it's usable

RIP… yah all builders choice at this point. I have used hot rods cranks in a few Lt250r builds and they have been good to me.
