i have a 2002 blaster, it has been rebuilt twice, the second time it was rebuilt (about half a year ago) it ran well. after about a month or so it started to bog down when the throtle was opend up all the way(accelerating). after that it would sputter and then want to die (when accelerating). then after a week of that it was very hard to start, it would sputter and then wouldnt start, i would leave it for a hour or so and come back and it would some times start. now the only thing that i can get it to do is fire a few times when i have the choke on, after it fires for a second it dies fast and i cant get to fire again unless i wait a long time.

i think its something in the carb, i have blown it out with air and tried to get as clean as i can, but it didnt work. also i get a good spark.
thanks for any help you can give me.

You know how to remove the TORS system? If not you can find a thread in the general support forum I believe giving you a walk through.....

Let us know how this turns out for you!

well i just got back from the blaster and i removed the TORS, (i found a good thread with pictures) but it didnt work. i checked the spark after the system was removed, there was still a strong spark. i guess that it the next step is to check the reed?

might be a cracked, broken, or stuck open reed.....you get fuel, you get spark....other than that i would guess air leak, but sometimes an air leak you can still ride it once you get it started.......
