02 blaster misfires at high rpm

No clue why there would have been a 350 in there, other than trying to compensate for an air leak !!
BEFORE you tear it down, do a compression and leakdown test !! Plus high speed miss isn't a indication of bad rings, hard starting and lack of power through whole rpm range is.

that would explain the 350!

Good point Larry. I'm guessing there is an air leak being compensated for with jets. Throw a compression/Leakdown test at it today and see what you come up with.
i had to work today so had no time to get around to it but hopefully i can get around to it tomorrow. Thanks larry and blasterboy!

what would be a good compression to be at? (ive never done one only on a car)

With a good gàge, you should be around 120psi. If the Schrader valve isn't at the very end, probably would read about 115 or so.
hit 125 no leaks but i did tear my top end apart and felt a groovein the cylinder and the piston has a little play.

Just to make it clear, a leak test and a compression test are 2 very different tests. Just because its it 115 psi on the compression test doesn't mean it doesn't have an air leak. The way you worded it it made it sound like since it had compression it doesn't have an air leak.

:p:p

We figured what the problem was. It was the stator the whole time:p
