02 blaster air leak somwhere

and if need be take the whole carb apart so it the body only. get a can at autozone of carb dip leave it in there overnight clean with carb cleaner and air blast it dry if you have no compressor use brake parts cleaner cuz if flashes off fast and leaves it dry

everything but the main was pulled and cleaned the carb was in tough shape as far as deposits. clean now going to pull the main tom and i have a spare carb off another blaster motor i have sitting here im going to line up all the jets and put the beter looking of the two in i didnt look to close at what this one had but the guy did have every jet screwed in tight so it may have messed up the seats and the reeds are good seat perfect. um what am i missing oh throttle the cable has been taken off and oiled the throttle isnt sticking tho its jumping up for no reason until you pull the choke or run the air screw all the way in

Soaking a carb is best way to clean inner passages. Take it completly apart. Don't soak plastic or rubber. Is gasket for slide good? Sounds like air leak if you have tried everything else. Inspect carb boot and air box boot for cracks, flex it to see cracks. Have you done leakdown test?
