There's a few cool thing bout' 4 strokes. The torque for one. and last but not least the REV LIMITER. When it hits it it goes like "wana-na-na-na-na-na-na-naa!!!" Kinda sounds like its saying "I wana-na-na-na go fast, but I can't!!!" LOL just kiddind dude. KTM's are wicked. It's real nice.

Whatever it is you can definately rule out the TORS system, only because you said the bike starts. The TORS cuts off the bike if the throttle should ever stick open. But def. check the CDI and reeds.

What about the Boyesen RAD valve? I heard those are pretty good. They're like $175. Supposed to increase top end like crazy. It works real nice on the old 250R an banshee. So why not the blaster? but yes, reeds are good too. Mostly increases response. and a bit more go.

I'm having the same problem with my blaster. Already checked literally everything. And I got bupkiss. All that's left is the fuel/ignition and TORS. If you do have a little bit of water in your fuel, it could clog up the carb, since water is denser, and also mess with the purity of the gas...
