  • hey bud i got an adapter from home cheapo today and its a lil big but now i know exactly what i need . i got a rubber fernco coupling thats 2" down to 1.5". the fitting fits over the outside of the carb on the smaller end of the adapter but the big end is huge for it. i may cut the small portion from the fitting so that there is a shorty piece that goes over the outside of the stock airbox hose and over the carb end. seems like it will be snug on the hose end and really tight on the carb end. think it will leak???
Sweet sounds like ya have a nice little pile of parts ready to build it up! Good luck and i'll be watchin for your builds too! Ken is awesome he has called me two weeks in a row just about everyday asking how it's going. Today i called him with the good news and he returned my call and wanted to hear it, He's happy with the jetting for now, wants me to drop the clip one spot asthe idle- it's hangin a hair when ya rev it. But first plug chop came back a tad dark but good for the break-in he said! Take care and glad you will give Ken some business as he is the man!!
Thanks for the washer! It works perfectly! The one that came of the bike originally is twice as thick! don't know why- But she up and running and through it's 3rd heat cycle. I think i have to check the head bolts or is it after the last heat cycle?
Thanks, I will prolly need some misc parts...like a new axle and what not...but its my beloved project...started as a rolling chassis...its getting close to riding now.
lol yea hopefully it goes well just rebuilt, just bought in pieces half finished, new custom clutch, new topend bored 60+, have to try and make new bracket for coil and weld on dieing to break in!!!
yea man its gonna be an awesome kickass, killer, drunkin, loud, smelly time....and i cant wait to finally put down a few with my blasty budz
and a new set of vforce reeds...they are shot 2, i got a billion things to do before this trip, but its gonna happen if i have to hitchhike lol
oh yea and this is all while i wait for my new stroker crank and piston kit to come in.....my lower rod bearing crapped out and whooped up the rings, so screw those wossner pistons, im going back to weisco, always the best lol
lmao....just got some minor issues with the current frame, and the new one got a "metallic"black.....ooooooooo ahhhhhhhh lol, and it gives me the chance to make it look like showroom condition, its gonna be hot lol
Well I was having issues still with this clutch and Ken help me troubleshoot it and we found that the thick washer (original from the quad) that goes behind the basket is actually too thick! Ya wouldn't happen to have the one that was on the motor that this basket came off of would ya? It's not allowing the inner basket to turn when clutch is pulled. I just can't win!
hey man do i need a banshee brake hub in order to fit this g-force axle and gsxr rear hydro setup? ive heard i will need it for the right caliper spacing?
