simply take the head off and look ! most U will have to do is replace head gasket if everything checks out

o yeah check base gasket

it has no fire . just throw out ideas to me . it is a no name atv . f it was my blaster it wuld b fixed lol , but know nothing on electric start 4 st rokes please help

defanally air leak . more than likely the BASE GASKET is blown out . Check it and let me know ! LOL the same thing happened to me

The " NUTS " for the " head bolts " They are a type of lock nut rite ? The ones I used when I went back up with the motor are regular nuts with a wider " washer type " base . But They keep viabrating off ! The base nuts also loosened up and blew out the base gasket . Before you ask , No I didn't...

never gave it a chance to fail ! Removed oil injector before I cranked it off ! lol

well, ima explian it, on the right side of the engine the base gasket tore and poped out by the front bolt....and its still conected to the whole gasket but its tore....ive been takin it and just pushin it in and tightin the hell out of it....

but if i replace the base gasket will i have to replace the head gasket? or could i use the one thats on it now????

all the yamaha shops around here are closed so i was just thinking of gettin the material and just out lining the old gasket and makin a new one....

So only yamaha stock gasket is the only thing ! Why can't I get the same material , trace the old gasket , and gut it out using the same material ????

Ok, im wondering if there is a curtian kind of gasket material i will have to use to fix the base gasket. The base gasket tore and poped out the side and i want to know if i can fix it with a curtian kinda gasket material????

the new oil say recomended for 50:1 lol just use it normally right ? 4 oz. to a gal. ?
