YZ 400 in a blaster

Ok fellas I found a YZ 400 that runs and comes with the ignition system for 200 bucks. Its a mid 80's or early 80's so its still air cooled. The guy im getting it from says that the case is the same size or really close to the same size as a yz 250 motor so it should swap in fairly easy. Anyone have any info on these motors or any input? Thank you all for looking.

thanks yb i think this is the swap i will actually go with now. I feel it will still be trailable after the swap. thats what i was looking for most was a trailable bike with more power.

No way bro you are talking about double the ccs going to the 400 motor. There are guys on here that run 35mm carbs on the Blaster. Stock is 26mm I think would never pump enough fuel for the 400.

yeah true, im starting to look for one now. the motor is all stock so I will run a 38mm like Paulie said.

haha your blaster carb wide open might let that beast idle but thats about it. good luck. i think we are all expecting a lot of pictures.
