Yoshi silencer on blaster?

Can you put a bike silencer on your blaster such as a yoshimura pipe... what is goin to be the disadvantages of having this pipe. Will the bike not run, back fire, mess the engine up, let me know. I have an 89 blaster 240..
If this is a dumb noob question at least let me know why!

no nothing would happen but u clearely wouldnt want to waste a yoshi silencer on a blaster... besides, it would be hard to mount and might not be lont enough to reach the expansion pipe...
