So mid way through this summer I'm probably going to try and sell the Blaster and get a Yamaha XT 250 or 350, maybe trade straight up. Can anyone tell me if they are any good? I don't want it for off road use, I'd like to have it for on road use and maybe some real light trails to go fishing or whatever with my nephew. I'm not a motorcycle guy (meaning I've never owned a motorcycle) so would it be tough for me use on road? Just want something with good gas mileage to drive to school and work. Are parts easy to find? Are there any after market parts for them to increase performance? Like exhaust and that type of thing. If this isn't the ideal bike for a beginner on road then suggest something for me to think about. I've ridden dirt bikes, just never owned one. Throw some ideas and thoughts out there guys, anything is appreciated.
