XR- 80 HELP

I just rebuit the top end of my 2002 xr80r and It starts but it only runs when on full choke and even when it runs it revs high. I need help

Leak test now.

Pay attention to the reed block and carby boot, they are prone to leaking.

^^^^^^^^^^^^YES! Needing the choke on is a sure sign of an air leak, or lack of fuel

Double check float level, carb is clean, jets are clean. As mentioned, inspect carb boot, make sure clamp is tight.


FYI, XR-80 has no reed block

The carb is clean. But I don't know the settings for the idle screw and the other one.
