Worth it?

"Designed to work on all spark ignition engines with 4 stroke gas engine."

Not sure if all gas engines, or just 4 stroke

Read it again, line 13 "◦Designed to work on all spark ignition engines with 4 stroke gas engine" (copy/pasted) sorry. Probably would work but you would have to be good at math, all values would have to be divided by two :o:D8-|

looks interesting for the price, i'd like to see how many hours i put on in a season

edit......... the sensor is just the wire wrapped around the plug wire, and works off of inductance, and i do not see how that could determine if the spark, that induces the voltage, is from a 2 or 4 stroke, it cannot !!!
that'll work on any plug wire

yea, it only connects to the spark plug?

spark plug wire

as the coil sends the voltage thru the wire to spark, it induces a voltage on the tach wire wrapped around it, similar principle to any transformer/coil
each spark of your motor counts it as one rpm

aaaahhhhh, that might be why it says for 4 strokes, it will count each spark as 2 rpm's, as the 4 poker is making double the revolutions as our 2 strokes ???

so at 5000 rpms, it'd prolly read 10,000 on our bikes ????
