The flywheel key is stuck in the shaft and i cant get it out . Seems like it sat all the way down maby i didn't line it up correctly and pushed it in there myself whene I put it on. Any suggestions on how to get it out? Its almost sitting flush.

Pound one edge with a screwdriver and hammer very carefully, the other side should kinda rock up

Might sound silly but, gently tap it as if you were trying to put it in, and then still tapping slowly move the hammer, just little bits toward the end of the shaft.

As it gets nearer to the end of the key, the other end may just pop up.

i think you need to loose the idea of ever reusing that key and dont worry about a bit of damage to it, you will need to replace it with a new one. Try some Q20/WD40 etc or maybe even some Silicone spray

I tried everything nothing worked so I took a fifty fifty chance and drilled it. Got lucky got er out of there without toasting it

Another question the crank is a new weisco crank, it sis not come with its own key so I used the stock and that's were I came into problems I think. So I'm wondering if weisco supplies these has any body used this crank did the stock key worked I just went to the hardware store and bought five diff ones that looked close none of them worked
