Won't Start????

Hey list,

I really need your help. I took the blaster out of the garage and started her right up. Drove it around the block a few times to get the engine turned. Well after looking at the engine I decided to clean it up so I went down to Autozone bought some engine cleaner and spayed the motor down. Then after 10-15 minutes I rinsed the motor off with the water hose and got it looking new. I let it sit for about 3 hours to let it dry off but when I tried to start her back up she won't crank???? I tried everything spark plug, cleaned carb and cleaned gas tank. Still nothing......
Please help .....................

First you say it wont crank? Im assuming you can kick it over, but it doesn't run, correct? Second, you said you tried everything, so does it have spark, or not, fuel or not?

I am guessing you have no spark, or a too much water got were it wasn't suppossed to. Let me know.

Well I got back on the blaster and after few tries I got her to start. Let it warm up (it was fine on idle) then I took it out and upon releasing the clutch she died out on me. I tried to start it back up but no response. I'm back to square one.

So 2 answer your question yes I believe it has spark and gas sinse it started!

did you remove the set when you were washing her?
anyway there's a leak at the carb, exhaust, head or cylinder base where water might have gotten in there?
maybe the spark plug wasn't tightened down good?

did it used to work fine? Maybe part of the tors system got wet and is malfunctioning a little, but you got it to work once? Maybe not, just a another thought.
