Wont Run

Yeah that looks different then mine, I think I remember reading somewhere that the newer bikes had them in a differnt spot then under the hood. If I'm not mistaking I think I read it toward the end of the DIY TORS removal.

I think they might have said it was up under the seat or something.

Here, I did a little searching in the DIY thread and I found where a guy said this:

Just a note about newer blasters, they don't have a TORS brain. It is built into the entire computer. You just have to disconect the tors at the throttle body and remove the switch at the accelerator and jump the wires together.

I would say try it and see what happens.

Hey guys, i have a 04 blaster with the tors. The carb has the brick with two wires and the thumb throttle has a switch with two wires, but under the front plastic their is only two boxes the cdi and the voltage regulator. Their is a wire white harness floating under front plastic not hooked to anything.

Heres the problem, It wont idle at all, but it runs amazing and i can keep it running if i stay on the throttle. With the carb brick pluggeg in it revs realy high at idleso i ride with it un plugged. with the carb brick un-plugged it seems fine but wont idle on its own and if i release the thumb throttle all the way it ativates the switch and shuts off. But if i un-plug the switch under the front plastic it wont run at all.

Any help would be great. I'm am stumped.

The tors was fully removed from my blaster but my friend has an 05 blaster and after 5mins of riding the tors went all we do is cut the wire going into the parking brake, i also done this on my last 05 blaster and it worked. This is the easiest way to do it. It always seems to happen about 10mins after you get the quad home :S
