hi i am a new blaster owner
just got the quad and it was running well thought i would check the air filter only to find out it never had one
bought a new pre oiled filter and fitted it today now the quad will not rev properly when i took the seat and the air filter top off i could see when you rev it its trying to suck the filter in do you think there is to much oil in it or have i other problems
i have tryed adjusting the air mixture but it makes no difference

The stock style foam filters have a cage that goes inside them, sounds like you might be missing that. The reason it won't rev though is most likely cuz its running way rich now since the air filter and oil are restricting air flow.

thanks for the quick reply it does have the cage but you can see the filter being sucked in i think i will try washing it and re oiling it myself

Hes right your running rich and need to rejet since you changed your airflow rate, its getting too much fuel.... Dial the jet back to a smaller size to compensate if you plan on keeping an air filter on there then you will have to rejet....

Same thing the previous owner had to do they had to get bigger jets to make up for taking the filter off...

It will run and rev up fine once shes dialed in properly! I bet it will rev good with the filter off of there doesnt it?

yes it revs good with no air filter as far as i know its runing standard jets but will have a look tomorrow
