ok so i figured id update u guys one whats happening with the blaster... i checked the carb float and it was out of spec, it was measuring about 25mm when its supposed to be 20-21mm... so im thinking that when i was doing the plug chops, the blaster was not getting the correct fuel ratio because the carb bowl was almost running out of gas, but not completely... before when i would rev it out while riding, it would come back down, but it would get little blips of throttle even though i wasn't touching the throttle... i think what was happening there is the carb bowl was getting sucked almost dry and then when i would pull the clutch in to coast it would be running lean for a few seconds before the gas started filling back up, hence why it sounded like air was getting through... does anyone follow my logic on this one? I took it out yesterday after adjusting the carb with a 310 main and it ran great, rpms never blipped on the way down... and i know a plug chop will be the only way to tell if adjusting the float height fixed my problem, but when i pulled the plug last night, the insulator was a dark chocolate color, and the electrode looked a little oily... sounds like im rich instead of lean, right?
