Will it fit up?

Ok I am sick and tired of not having back brakes ever since I bought this thing I have had no brakes and it's starting to piss me off very badly and everytime I save up for them something else comes along and screws it up so heres what I am looking for the 02 and down rear brake setup I know that my quad comes with the hydros but to rebuild this thing its 50 bucks I was told by my local shop and then who knows if this will still fix my problem I just want brakes will the older styles fit on my 05 and how much can I get the rear brake setup for cause I cannot seem to find them only the hydros on Ebay I found a guy who has the older ones but will they fit and is 30 bucks too much?

but i doubt the 88-02 caliper and bracket will fit onto an 03+ carrier, different configuration
but you'd still need the pre 03 footpeg and brake pedal for the cable to connect to down there, and either a $30+ dollar shorty cable or the pre 03 hand brake lever for the stock parking brake cable to connect to
your frame will also be missing the tab that sticks out behind the pedal for the cable to mount too
and the 03+ axles use a solid mounted brake disc, the pre 03's use a floating disc,
one or the other has to float, caliper or disc, what your suggesting will have 2 solidly mounted parts and wouldnt work well
way too much to do for sucky brakes anyway

Ive rode 2 years without brakes at all lol. And hill climbing you use the rear? i dont wanna flip (again). Also by the time you have jerry riged a mechinacil rear brake caliper on there you would have close to a 100 or so and try to find some hydro brakes.

Simple fix, save save save! then either get yours rebuilt or buy a new/used caliper

you ever see beaverdale I climb hills like that and yes def need rear brakes for the come back down ride BTw I am 29 years old and been riding since I been about 6 and never flipped using rear brakes

You could always get yourself as pair of good boots with aggressive tread

i gotta go down saturday and make a set of brakes, call me then and i'll see what calipers i have, but as i told you before, i need your 05 bike here to make a bracket for it, and we'll talk $$$$
whats the condition of your master ???? did you evrer get a rezzie cap ???

and i backed out of climbing this hill on sunday, cause my sons back brakes were acting up, and it's a couple mile ride to get to the bottom without coming back down it...............\/\/\/

You said hill climbing lol not riding back down ya you need em for the ride back down. Also ive never flipped using rear brakes either just flipped one time cause i hit a rut a lil of and it hit the tire and the rebound through the front end in the air and stalled.

When hillclimbing sometimes you don't make it up correct and yeah awk maybe I will just come down saturday and see what we can do then hows that oil leak on the boys all fixed up and yeah I told you I got a rezzie cap off my friends old z400.

Sucks its still having a few drips but atleast its rideable and what you looking in for stareo wise let me know saturday btw whats a good time to stop in at the garage and how close to the garage is this hill wouldn't mind checking it out in person
