widening kit?

Diamond J makes good widening kits for the blaster, which appears to be the brand of the widening kit provided. I personally am not fond of how they look but is a little cheaper than getting extended a-arms

I fitted one of these kits to my boys Blaster, they are not the prettiest but work real well, and a cheaper option. I had to buy 4 extra bolts as the ones supplied were too short. I also had to insert some spacing washers as the bottom A arms were too narrow to properly fit between the bottom spacing arms.

I recommend that you get the lowering kit as well as I willl allow you to mix and match shocks. I had to use the lowering kit to get the stock shocks to sit at the right angle.

The benefit of the widening kit is that you can choose widths of 4 1/2" and 6'" wide. This can be achieved by moving the A arms and using a different tie rod extensions. This may help if riding wooded trails. Also if you use the lowering and widening option you can raise or lower according to your needs.

The benefit of wider A arms, is a better looking product, possibly more strength, and the added advantage of getting the bike one or more inches longer.

I run the Diamond J widening and lowering kit and am more than happy with it. I can pick the bike up for MX and can drop it way down for flat track and drags.
