i just got a check for 900 bucks and i have a running 97 but i wanna do some cool stuff too it. i already have tires, i wanna do something with the swingarm because the wheelbase is just too short. i wanna ask where is the best place to order parts from, whats the best parts to buy, and what do you guys think i should do with it. gimme your ideas. its fully stock, still has the stock knobbys on it!
 
already got a fmf silencer on it, i was thinking new plastics, seat, 66.5 mm bore kit, and just waiting till i get paid again to get the arms and sh*t. and wouldnt buying nerfs be cheaper?
 
Port/polish, head mod, right bend pipe, 5" wheel spacers, and extended swingarm. Dead on 900 dollars when you factor in the shipping to your builder of choice. Just my .02
 
Nerfs with heel guards are hard to find for older blasters and are pricey get yfz heel guards($40 on ebay) tusk nerfs ($99) cheap plastics and seat cover from rockymountainatv.com

Nerf bars have nothing to do with widening the bike. If it needs a top end then take the porting/polishing off.
 
doesnt neet a top end its been rebuilt already. just wanna clean it up a little bit. thanks for the ideas sounds good!

In one post you are saying you want a bore kit and the next you say it doesnt need a top end etc Do you understand what a "bore kit":o is? With that said I would wipe the bore kit off your list and decide what route you want to go.Do you want speed,suspension,or looks? That should better help us give you decisions.

theres a couple people on here that makes swingarm but id say get hydro front brakes then start on preformance no point in going fast if you cant stop

get the stock ported and polished and a head mod its cheaper than the bbk and makes more power

Exactly what I am trying to say.If your top end is fresh and operational you wouln't do a fresh bore or use a "bore kit". Boring up to a larger piston will give you no extra power than you have now and will just reduce the life of your cylinder.
