I know this is a loaded question, based mostly on who has what. But my question is, Who makes the best +4 swingarm? O'conner? Burguard? Blaster zone? Lonestar? Ebay? I ride mostly trails and do hill climbs with a little mx mixed in here and there.

well don't order those swingarmshop ones on ebay. they will not hold up to mx at all. oconnor makes a really sturdy swingarm. I have a Lonestar and it's tough as nails, but really expensive

Dont ever get the cheap eBay swingers. Blasterfreek33 (Admin on here) had a few and they broke withing weeks of use. They are complete crap. Ken O'connor makes really nice ones. Same with Burguard, both are high quality. You really have to take in mind that you get what you pay for!

Do you think the lonestar is worth the extra $$$ over what the O'conner and burguard cost? The O'conner and burgurd are my front runners for choice as of right now.

I never really thought about the ebay swingarms as an actual choice but didn't want to leave them out for arguement sake.

Definately not!! Buy the occonners arm and save a few hundred bux. I have not seen one that would compare to his. Lonestar is a good arm but way over priced and yes i have one.

If you spend the money on a swingarm, you should get the long travel version so you have full suspension movement.

Same with A-Arms. Go long travel in the front and back. Thats what I plan to do if I ever get money I can justify spending on that project. Thats A LOT of money to do right. But when its done, if you have your engine right, it will make the blaster a potent little quad. It already is, but the suspension is its downfall.

i have an oconnor t-rock swinger, and he knows how i ride, and the roughest sh*t on earth i ride in, and he desinged and built these swingers with that in mind,
it fit like a glove, and will prolly still be standing after the nuclear holocaust it's that beefy
pound for pound, dollar for dollar, it's the light heavy weight champion. period

I don't build these. Tarmo does. I just help him market them by hosting a page for him on my site. I don't make a dime when he sells one. I see the work that he puts into them and they're a deal for what he charges. Tarmo is anal when it comes to this stuff. I would never let him tie my name to his product if I didn't have 100% confidence in it.

My dad made a pretty good one for his banshee its lasted 19 years or hard drag racing. All he did was cut his swingarm just after the swing arm bolt and welded 8'' of high strength steel tubeing to the two haves. Then used that same steel tubing as his rear suspension like a strut bar so he wouldent be able to wheelie off the line and lose time. Cost like $30 back then I'm guessing.( Id love to show a picture of it but BF is wierd and wont let me do it as an JPG even though it's below 97 something KB attachment.)
