out of curiosity, those who hunt specify how you hunt.
In my opinion, again, IN MY OPINION- sitting in a deer blind 50 yards away from a feeder in a nice clearing is not hunting but merely one-shot target practice.
That's all there is down here in south Texas when it comes to deer. Decide on a clearing, set up a huge feeder, and go quietly pick your nose in a deer blind 50-75 yards away until something shows up to eat hours later. I've seen some blinds 30 yards from a feeder.
Hey if you've gotta eat, then more power to you. But as a sport there's not much sport in it. Just gotta be patient and a half-decent shot. Get out of your blind and go hunt that sh*t. THEN, I'll be impressed at what's hanging on your wall.
Holy crap all there is down here is guys who buy every camo accessory possible from Academy sports, go fart around in a deer blind, and think they belong on the Outdoors Channel.
