Im trying to decide if i should buy used extended a-arms +3 or +2 and cheap used works shocks. Or if I should save the money on extended a-arms and buy some nice new Works shocks or used elkas set up right on for my weight. Would the extended a-arms give me a better ride for trails so much that they are worth it?
Thanks

absolutely nothing wrong with used. i'd have to commit myself to the looney bin if i had paid new price for my arms and shocks. i say find a combo and buy 'em used. like fed said you can always get the shocks revalved.

i wondered the same thing when i bought mine. i got used +3+1 burgard a arms and i am using raptor 350 shocks. i wanted to trade my arms for some elkas, but i think i am just going to stick with my setup. it rides soooooooo much better

Ok I'm my only worry was finding shocks set up for my weight, and I would rather not spend the money to have them sent out to get revalved. But I was thinking that if I found a pair set up for someone heavier on standard length arms that the extended arms would help soften them up.?

Works shocks are ok. Elkas are better but are big money-. Nothing wrong with used x-tended a-arms, unless u are made of money and can get brand spankin new! Never had extended arms so I cant give ya any info on that.

well I just bought burgard a-arms off a member so hopefully they are good. also getting a full hydraulic setup for the front. how do i bleed the brakes, just put all the brake fluid in the master cylinder, then what?
Thanks
