In addition to my '04 Blaster, I've got an '01 sitting around I need to do something with. I've already bought most of the parts I need to convert the front brakes over to hydraulic, except for the master cylinder and having the spindles done. Is till need to convert the rear. I've got 2 motors sitting in the garage that need to be put together. One of them has a bad rod bearing, so that will have to be addressed, the other I have not been into just yet. I have 2 cylinders to choose from, one has the stock bore still and the other has has a big bore sleeve. Neither has had any porting done. My '04 has a +3 stroke and has BBK @ 73mm that was ported by KOC. It runs awesome!!! Based on riding the +04 I can decide how to put a motor together for the '01. Either cylinder I will send to Ken to get ported. I just can't decide whether to go BBK or stock. I ride trails and also do varying degrees of motocross.
