which oil am i supposed to put in the tank by the seat in the back, i have yamaha 2 stroke 2r oil but idk where thats supposed to go in the engine( tranny or back tank). what oil do i need?

yamaha doesn't recommend 2R in the oil injection system[i'm not sure why], use 2S for injection. if you want to eliminate the injection the 2R or 2S will work for premix. don't put that in your tranny, use Type-F ATF, or motorcycle 10w40 oil with no friction modifiers
I never used the injection. But 2 r is for premix. Yamaha oil sucks in my opinion. It stinks terribly. Do yourself a favor and do an oil block off kit,eliminate the oil injection and run klotz techniplate premix and your motor will be happy.

i'm sure you could run 2R and not have any issues, just for some reason yamaha doesn't recommend it.
yea i think i might try it, i read some guy used it and he said nothing really bad happened to it, what u guys think, should i try the yamaha 2 stroke 2r?
