i am trying to decide to get either a fmf fatty head pipe or a pro circut head pipe. i do some racing and trail riding which do you think i should get?

well on a stock engine pro circuits are better than fmf's but ur going to want a bettter exhuast sooo get a dyno port

I'm personaly on a toss up between a dyno and an f7....

I think an f7 would be better for a built 200cc jug and a dyno would be better for a 240cc big bore. Then again some people are having great results with Shearer's on 200cc jugs. It really depends on what you want to do with your engine. If your just doing a few basic mods a toomey would be best for you. I suggest you contact a builder on this forum, they can point you in the right direction.

Personally, I am looking at a CPI big bore pipe. After speaking with Mike at CPI I think that their product is what I want. He also told me that you have to ask for the big bore pipe (it is different from the regular pipe) when you order and that it is the same price. The pipe is more of an all round pipe that when they designed and dynoed it it produced more mid-top than the Toomey. I guess it is not a drag pipe but has a very strong topend. The owner of CP Customs swears by CPI and has told me that they have not found a better all round pipe. One of my local builders Midnite Motorsports also swears by CPI. However, they all made their comparisons against the Toomey pipe. I know that Kennedy loves the Vito's for topend and Shearer for mid-range. Below are a couple of links....

well kennedy dyno'ed the pipe and said it did terrible and then compared it to the shearer pip and the shearer pipe whooped the f7 soo bad it wasnt even funny and he said that an f7 was just a hacked up motor cycle pipe with colorful silencer

I thought that the f7 was a power pros pipe and is the same as the trinity and ct racing. ct racing uses this design to make a 38hp engine kit. I am not against Kennedy (if I can get the money I want him to do my engine) I just think that alot of people on here have used this style of pipe and love the performance. I am also considering a dynoport for my second blaster but I am unsure which one the big volume or the mid-top. I wish that companies would post dyno sheets from when they developed their pipes. I love the fact that Kennedy is so silling to post dyno sheets of his work!I:I

there both average pipes... if your considering buying a new pipe you should get a toomey....dynpports pipe isnt bad.... but i like shearer .but if you decide that your only picking between those 2 pipes i would definetely go for the pro circuit..................

hope that helps!!
