where the pipe meets the flange

a lot of people say copper rtv. I don't agree. I unravled an old exhaust oring and used the lead portion to wrap around the flange and when i slid the pipe over it it made an nice seal. no smoke leaks or oil

Yes it should be, I used some copper RTV on my power pros to seal it lasted pretty good so far, I let it sit for two days before I fired it up, Hasn't burnt off yet. I tried everything, including using a pipe expander to seal it on the pipe but it still leaked! That would be the only thing i don't like about my Power pro's.

I tried scotts way too but wouldn't work for me.

For my custom FTZ out of frame pipe I used a rubber ring out of an o-ring kit from harbor freight. Sealed that baby up perfect.
Does the Blaster pipes not come with a factory rubber oring on the pipe flange?
This is the kit if your wondering. It's come in handy for a variety of things.

Nice Paulie, I may just try that and see if it that will work, I hate the RTV all over my shiny pipe! Good find!!!
