Where does this go?

I just got done swapping out the frame from the crash and I can't seem to find out where this wire with a button on the end goes. In the pic I have it sitting on the fender. It will start without pushing the button down but just boggs when giving it gas. If I push in the button it revs fine. It has tabs on the edges where it looks like it would push into a round hole. It also won't idle either way which I guess is another issue in itself. Anyone?

I just was looking some more and it's the same switch the goes into the front brake lever. Does that help?

No, there is no hole on the clutch lever anywhere. Are you sure it doesn't connect to the throttle somewhere? I can have the button in my hand and press it and it revs fine and soon as i let go it boggs down immediately. By the way, it is an 03. Not sure if that matters.

Its the clutch position sensor. Just cut the plug, wire it together and be done. Theres no right ad wrong with it, plus if you do what I said you can use ANY clutch lever you want.

maybe someone already replaced the clutch lever with one that doesnt have the mounting hole for this switch, so cutting and splicing may be the only way to go, or you can keep f*ckin with it for days on end, then ask yourself "how bad do i wanna ride"
just splice it!!!!! and ty-rap it up under the hood, and "forget about it"

Now that I think about it, I think the wire was just hanging in the hood when I took it apart. I cut it and spliced it but it was the same thing. If I just unplug it, it's fine. So the switch must disconnect when the button is pushed.
