help i cant find them on ebay i just want the small gear on the back if someone knows where to buy it can you send me a link

You cannot buy that gear seperate. You have to purchase a replacement clutch basket or at the very least a replacement ring-gear and then attach the ring gear to your clutch basket.

The real question is, how did you back gear get broken? I would suspect FOD or extreme heat and fatigue (from lubrication problems) so before you purchase another clutch and break that one too, you should inspect your transmission's condition thoroughly.

trans all looks good the motor did blow up previously and was rebuild so it coulda been a problem from when it blew up the clutch went out too so it coulda been any of those things

Have you ever done a leak-down test on this engine? Has it ever had problems shifting or problems of hanging in gear.

The reason I ask is, the engine "blowing up" could mean anything from mild to severe. At the severe end of things, the piston and shatter and get between the crankshaft and crankcase and break some of it out. Not only does that create a large air leak but those pieces can then float around the engine and get jammed in between gears.

ya the piston shattered but its got a differend right side case and everythings in good shape except that gear

Well, then you need an outer clutch basket or the gear at least. Buying a clutch basket is expensive but can be had for a price. Buying a gear and fixing it to your stock clutch basket (assuming your basket is in serviceable shape) could be less expensive but will require more work on your part.

does that gear just sit in there or would their be more work required than just taking off the clutch and putting it behind it

The gear is one piece and riveted to the back of the cast aluminum "basket". Awk08 actually did a very good detailed post about replacing his stock basket (same process you'd use to replace your gear) with a billet basket. You would do the same thing but you would re-use your stock basket and put a new gear on.

i say just go buy a hinson and call it a day

Hinson sells a billet BASKET not whole clutch assembly. Their procedure for installation is to drill out the original basket rivets, install the gear and rubber bump stops on their basket, and use provided bolts to attach them.

Since his gear is broken a billet basket won't do much good which is why I said, source a used clutch (or at least the gear part) and either use the other function clutch assembly or drill out the rivets in your clutch and find some bolts to put your basket on the other gear.
