When should silencer be repacked?

Just bought a blaster that has a FMF pipe on it. How do I know when it should be repacked? :-/ Is there a way to tell if it needs it? I don't know a thing about it. Thanks.

You will need to drill out the rivets and then re-rivet the holes. You should replace the packing about every 3-6 months.

unless your like me and remove packing cuz its not loud enough ( yes i know a properly packed silencer will make more power but i like the sound and most of you seen my vids and know my blaster sounded good)
