I had a problem with my carb, opened it up, cleaned it out adjusted everything and the machine started 2nd kick and ran beautifully. I ran it maybe 6 to 10 times (short sessions) and one day I took it out and it ran like crap for about three minutes and died. I let it sit for ten minutes and it would fire up but sputter a bit. The second I give it gas it would struggle then die. So I cleaned out the carb and it ran great. No problem. Got it on the trailer, got on the dirt started the bikes up, and it did it the same exact thing. I assume its the carb, but before I take the carb off and clean it AGAIN I thought Id post this first. P.S. I Changed the plug just for fun, but same story. Any ideas?:">

I assume you have a fuel filter? Also crap hoses rot on the inside and clog up a good carb all the time you might want to check the hose.
no fuel filter...whats up with that? My 97 bayliner boat didnt have a fuel filter on it either, and I had to rip the carb off and rebuild it on that too. Wouldnt it make sense to put a fuel filter on ANYTHING that uses gas? Oh well. A three dollar fix, just annoying. Thanks for the advise, I'll try it out. I'll probably replace the hose while Im at it. Thanks fellas.
sounds to me like you may have a little water in the tank/or dirt in the bottom of the tank try a filter if that dont work drain some gas into a cup or something and look for water in it
