What's wrong with the DMC pipes?

I got a Blaster recently, just had it out for the first time last Saturday at the local MX track. It's stock except for VF3 reeds and a DMC alien pipe/silencer. It pulls good up top, not too much down low. Runs nice and clean though, and the plug chops I did indicate that the jetting is pretty close, maybe a bit lean.
I've never ridden a Blaster before, so I have nothing to compare to, but I've heard nothing but negative comments about the DMC pipe. What's so bad about them? I notice it looks skinnier than some of the other pipes I've seen on here. I wouldn't mind a bit more mid-range, as I'll be mostly trails. I'm thinking of trying a LRD.

i personally think the dmc is a sweet pipe, never known or woned one, but some vids on yout tube the pipe seems to perform well.. wheelies with a full size adult on a blaster.. and i think it sounds good

there is nothing wrong with them...

it's just there not the best out there....

just like fmf isn tthe best.. but i loved my fmf for the riding i did.. power right where i needed it to power out of corners
