i have my 06 blaster now but im too big for it and it doesnt go fast enough which can be upgraded of course but the size is still a problem? i already started this topic in off topic but i figured i would introduce myself in here as well. so do you guys have any ideas to what i should get next?

deff check out under the DIY's an old thread called cheap and easy mods (it probably is towards the older stuff.. but just search for the topic starter as my name and a few will come up and find that one)

and anything specific would be like port and polish and stuff like that we'll get into that under gen support and stuff just to keep intro clean..

Put a +4 swng arm w, new shocks (maybe a YFZ450 rear and fronts? then either get a G-force +4 axle and some new arms to make it wider. A cheaper way to do that would be a Diamond J widending kit and some rear wheel spacers. Then, make some handle bar risers (there is a DYI on this site) and your quad will be a "full size quad" I am 6' and 260 and my blaster can haul me around. I just did the above mods to my blaster and now i fit on it really well! Any questins ask anybody on this site and they could point you in the right directiion! Welcome to Blaster Forum!

welcome and enjoy, well if you are really wanting somthing eles id check out a yfz 450! but there are plenty of mods you can do with half the money that will please you on the blaster!

im 15 also and am thinking on upgrading instead of dishing money into my 03 since im kinda big for it..im thinking 400ex next..there not that much used and there good quads for the money..you can find like 2000-2003s on craigslist for like around $2200

very good bikes, they are very reliable, low maintance and plenty fast enough for the average trail rider, but if you want performance, the Z400 in my opinon is a better option, just mod for mod you'll get alot better performance out of the Z, the EX's are nice but a little out dated! Just do some researching! hope it helps

I know people around hate hearing it but its a simple fix, get ride of the blaster and buy something bigger.

yeah i think im ganna try getting a warrior next i wanna have reverse haha.
and i dont care much for the "just hit by a truck" feeling after riding the blaster for a 3 hr trip the suspension sucks...

get an old honda or suzuki 250r from the late 80s-early 90's theyre way faster than the blaster and theyre a "ful size" quad

trust me, i have both
