WHAT YEAR IS MY QUAD?!?!?

Well looked at a thread for my year of quad and it said that the VIN number is 10 digits/letters, well i checked mine and its 9 digits..I think... here it is is it meant to be like this? if so what year is it and where is the VIN on the engine?

Here is my VIN : 3JM 198546

there is no other numbers around this..so im slightly confused thanks

nahh u need the vin number on the frame ..

the vin is on the lower frame on the shifter side. its right by the shifter.

this is the one i got from the shifter side..thats why im confused..its next to the shifter on the bottom part of the frame..im from the uk btw if it makes any diff

forgot to say the way i noticed this was because the paint had been rubbed off and was visible, hence why i think its the VIN number
