Hey guys i am new to the forum aswell as not only blasters but quads aswell. This will be my first quad ever and i did own a rm125 when i was younger for one summer. Anyways i am going to look at a 2002 blaster tomorrow and wanted to know what should I look for?? Thanks everyone in advance for the help!!

frame cracks, swingarm cracks, anyrust on the welds that could be the makings of a crack, compression would be nice. if you have a harbor freight near by they sell compression testers cheap. you want it to read between 100-120 psi. transmission oil leaks. cracks in cases, case damage infront of the chain if you can see in there. jb weld hiding any cracks. this is all i can think of for now. good luck and welcome to the site dude.

you take the spark plug out and srew it into there hold the throtle wide open and keep kicking it til the needle stops moving

it screws into the spark plug hole then you kick the kickstarter until the pressure stops goin up. if it is much under 100psi it is due for a rebuild and i would keep shopping. I have no clue what zwiser was takin about.

I was saying don't let the seller drag you into buying it like the guy how sold me mine said it had a bbk and I know now that it didnt

Besides the obvious check the swing arm for any cracks. Check the axle and see if it's bent. Check all the wiring and see if everything is hooked up right. And most importantly take it for a good test drive. Hope this helps!
